Area D4 Police Station

The new Area D4 Police Station stands at the corner of Harrison Avenue and Plympton Street in the South End of Boston. This state-of-the-art 27,000 square foot facility includes a drive-through "sally port," multi-station prisoner processing capabilities, and advanced telecommunications center.

In the spirit of community involvement, the Boston Police Department requested that BSBA include in their design a community room and associated support areas. Positioned at the arched windows, the community room, which will be used by local neighborhood organizations and committees for public meetings and events, overlooks the local neighborhood and adjacent recreation area.
